Renée Yarshon, Independents by Sodexo executive head chef at Wycombe Abbey, discovers the spirit of Sodexo in USA.
Sodexo’s Global Chef programme, which enables Sodexo chefs from around the globe to share cultural insights, gave Renée the opportunity of a lifetime to experience America’s Midwest.
Equipped with 16 classic English recipes, Renée’s four-week journey began in Texas before moving on to six other US states including: Kansas, Colarado, and St Louis.
At the end of the trip, Renée was asked to make a speech to the president of St Cloud’s State University in Minnesota.
“I was very proud to be flying the flag for Britain and for Sodexo. I spoke about how proud I was to be part of a global company and that I hoped the event we produced would show the school that Sodexo’s more than just a service company and that we have a team of extremely talented and passionate people”.
