Amanda Vettese, account manager for independent and private schools, Scotland joined us in late summer from The Marriott Hotel Group, where she held the position of Sales and Events Manager for seven hotels across Scotland and before that managed the entire catering operation at Hibernian Football Club.
She says she is particularly passionate about the company’s commitment to producing healthy food with the freshest and most seasonal ingredients.
Amanda visited Independents by Sodexo schools in England to glean insights and inspiration to take back to Scotland as she seeks to get the Scottish teams working closer together.
“The fresh food from scratch ethos was only introduced in our Scottish schools at the tail-end of last year” said Amanda. “I’m really excited about coming on board and working with the teams. It’s going to be new for them and it’s new to me, so it’s an opportunity for us to all learn, work together and bond. It would be nice to bring the wow factor to every school.”
