The Sodexo Chef of the Year final was held this week at The Great Hospitality Show, NEC, Birmingham where eight finalists from across the UK and Ireland competed for the coveted accolade.
There was a great judging line up, including Daniel Galmiche (Michelin-star chef), Russell Bateman (Colettes) and Derry Clarke (L’Ecrivan).
Congratulations go to David Hussey, Executive Head Chef at Eton College, who was crowned Sodexo Chef of the Year 2017.
David will be treated to a culinary trip to Norway courtesy of the Norwegian Seafood Council. In addition, the top three prize winners will go on a UK culinary trip to Cumbria and visit world-renowned two Michelin-starred L’Enclume restaurant, courtesy of Leathams.
