Independents by Sodexo at ISBA Annual Conference 2026

At Independents by Sodexo we are thrilled to be attending the Independent Schools’ Bursars Association (ISBA) Annual Conference 2026, currently underway at the ICC Wales.

Connecting With Independent School Leaders

Each year the event brings together bursars and school business professionals from across the UK. The ISBA Annual Conference is one of the independent education sector’s key events for networking, collaboration and professional development.

With a packed schedule of industry insights and networking opportunities, alongside more than 500 delegates, the conference is a valuable opportunity for schools to explore new ideas, discuss sector challenges and build meaningful partnerships.

At Independents by Sodexo, we are proud to be part of this year’s conversation as an exhibitor. We’re excited to showcase the tailored food and support services we provide to independent schools across the UK.

Partnerships Beyond the Kitchen

By working closely with pupils, parents and staff we understand that every school community is unique. That’s why we look to build partnerships that go beyond food to support wider school priorities and long-term ambitions.

Our team works collaboratively with Independent schools to help address important challenges including pupil wellbeing, reducing food waste and creating commercial opportunities that deliver added value. Through an approach that is flexible and innovative we create solutions that evolve alongside the changing needs of each school.

Social value sits at the heart of everything we do, from wellbeing initiatives and food education programmes to creating engaging food experiences that positively impact the wider school community.

Meet the Team at Stand 11

Simon Knight, Managing Director of Independents by Sodexo, along with Dan Collier and the wider team, will be attending the conference and look forward to welcoming delegates across the three-day event.

The team hosted clients and conference attendees for an evening celebrating traditional Welsh fayre ahead of the conference activities.

Visitors to Stand 11 will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and sample dishes prepared by Independents by Sodexo’s culinary team, including the latest “Powering Performance” menus being showcased during the event.

Dan Collier, Business Development Executive Chef, will be presenting the new menus designed to support pupil wellbeing, focus and performance throughout the school day.

Whether you are exploring more sustainable approaches or considering outsourced support services, the team will be on hand to discuss tailored solutions designed around your school’s goals and values.

We look forward to meeting delegates, sharing ideas and building new partnerships throughout ISBA 2026.
