David Barnett

David started working as a Chef at 13 years old in a hotel in Dunkeld, Aged only 14 he started a professional chef class at Perth college and by 28 was a Head Chef.. David joined Sodexo in 2022 and has made a great impact delivering the Chefs in Classroom programme, supporting the Chefs in Independent Schools to ensure that we are providing healthy seasonal options and also supporting Chefs through a buddy group. In 2023, David won a Silver medal in Sodexo Chef of the Year and was a finalist at Sodexo's Rising Star Awards in December.
