Originally from Dublin, my career background and passion is food, having previously worked as a chef in a broad range of industries in Ireland and Europe, including Michelin star level. I moved into management when I joined Sodexo Ireland in 2006 and graduated to account manager.
Now, as part of the Independents by Sodexo team, my sole focus is managing our private schools business in Ireland: a very diverse range of schools including boarding, day and international, ranging from junior school to senior college status.
I am extremely excited about how the “fresh food from scratch” model fits in the school environment because I believe food and nutrition education forms a massive part of any student’s life and we have an obligation to teach this through the food we serve.
In Ireland, we have a natural resource of amazing local ingredients and dedicated people, and my objective is to marry these qualities and deliver the best possible food and service to the students we care for.
