Celebrity chef praises food quality and ethos

Celebrity chef James Tanner first joined forces with us a year ago and has been delighted with the quality and thought behind the way Independents by Sodexo has sourced and presented its food.

“From preparation through to presentation and then to the plate, you can tell they have really thought about their food offer and it shows they care.  It’s similar to what I do with my brother at our restaurants only on a bigger scale so to keep up that standard of high quality food in so many operations is great.”

“I could see when I took Jeremy and some of the culinary team to the fish market that they were very big on sustainability and I think that is important. They care about the environment, for example, where their beef comes from, how the cattle were fed, how much water was involved. They look at everything.  What more could you want? I wish all organisations looked at things in the way they do.  They have really set the benchmark for in-school catering.”
